Dr Gitanjali Talele

Gitanjali Talele is a pharmaceutical professional and clinical research expert with over 25 years of experience in drug development, regulatory strategy, and homeopathy research. A Bachelor of Pharmacy graduate from the University of Pune, with a PGDM in Marketing Management from Symbiosis and an MD in alternative medicine, she has worked across CROs, pharmaceutical companies, nutraceuticals, and the alternative medicine sector since 1995. Currently, she serves as a consultant and research associate at Biosimilia Private Limited, started by Dr. Rajesh Shah. She is actively involved in new drug development projects in homeopathy in collaboration with premier institutions such as Haffkine Institute, IIT Mumbai, ICT Mumbai, ACTREC, and other leading research centers. Her expertise spans in-vitro, in-vivo, preclinical, and clinical studies, along with regulatory documentation and submissions for AYUSH and phytopharmaceutical products.

Gitanjali has led and supported Phase I to Phase IV clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, and post-marketing surveillance studies. She specializes in protocol development, clinical study reports, regulatory medical writing, manuscript preparation, and ethics committee coordination. She is currently the member secretary of an independent ethics committee and a member of the Bureau of Indian Standards (Homoeopathy Sectional Committee AYD-07).

Her publication portfolio includes multiple peer-reviewed international journals, particularly in homeopathic nosode research, COVID-19 prophylaxis studies, and in vitro and standardization research, with a co-author for one paper receiving the Best Research Paper award from AYUSH and CCRH. She also serves as a reviewer for scientific journals in the field of alternative medicine.
