Dr. Rajesh Shah's Insights on Hepatitis C
Dr. Rajesh Shah emphasizes that Hepatitis C requires timely diagnosis, careful monitoring, and effective, safe treatment. In 2016, Dr. Shah published a research paper reporting on a novel medicine he developed, Hepatitis C Nosode, which demonstrated a reduction in viral load in patients with Hepatitis C.

What is Hepatitis C?
Hepatitis means an inflammatory condition of the liver. Chronic inflammation of the liver due to a viral infection is known as Hepatitis C. The Hepatitis C virus causes it and is one of the major hepatitis C causes of chronic liver disease worldwide. When this viral infection remains in the body for many years, it can lead to severe damage, such as scarring and cirrhosis of the liver. Liver cirrhosis and scarring are slow processes; therefore, they may not develop for 10–15 years after Hepatitis C infection.
The virus can spread through the infected person’s blood or body fluids. It commonly spreads by:
- Contaminated needles or non-sterile syringes
- Unsafe blood transfusions
- Unprotected sexual contact
- Sharing personal items like razors or toothbrushes
Acute Hepatitis C is often asymptomatic and may go unnoticed. It sometimes resolves on its own, but chronic Hepatitis C requires structured Hepatitis C treatment and long-term lifestyle management. If untreated, it may lead to complications such as liver cirrhosis, liver scarring, and, in a few cases, liver cancer.
Understanding Hepatitis C
Types of Hepatitis C
Genotype 1
Most widespread type; often needs longer, tailored antiviral treatment plans.
Genotype 2
Less common; usually responds well to standard therapies with proper monitoring.
Genotype 3
Can progress faster; linked with higher liver-fat buildup, requiring careful follow-up.
Genotype 4
Seen mainly in the Middle East/Africa; treatment approach varies with clinical factors.
Our Expertise
- Pioneering Research-Driven Homeopathic Care
Life Force Homeopathy is among the few clinics worldwide to have developed a patented, research-based homeopathic medicine for Hepatitis C. An observational human clinical study using this medicine reported a reduction in viral load in Hepatitis C patients

- Evidence-based Clinical Outcomes
Our research was among the first to report a reduction in viral load with a non-interferon-based approach in Hepatitis C patients. While the sample size was limited, the findings were encouraging and highlighted the need for further research. - Global Scope and Extensive Case Experience
With over 700 documented Hepatitis C cases managed at Life Force, our team has developed substantial clinical experience in supporting patients with Hepatitis C through carefully monitored, individualized care.
Homeopathy For Hepatitis C
Homeopathic medicines have shown supportive benefits in various liver disorders, including acute and chronic hepatitis, autoimmune hepatitis, and cirrhosis. Our clinical experience suggests that Homeopathic treatment for Hepatitis C may help improve quality of life, support immune balance, and reduce symptom burden. We do not claim to cure every case of Hepatitis C, but many patients have reported meaningful improvement in overall health and well-being.

Expert Answers to Common Questions
Hepatitis C is a viral infection of the liver that causes inflammation and, over time, may lead to liver scarring (fibrosis) or cirrhosis. The Hepatitis C virus (HCV) has multiple genotypes that may influence disease progression and treatment response.
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne infection. It may be transmitted through:
- Transfusion of infected blood or blood products (especially before routine screening)
- Use of contaminated needles or syringes
- Dialysis with improperly sterilized equipment
- Tattooing or body piercing with unsterilized instruments
- Sexual contact with an infected individual (less common, but possible)
Many individuals with Hepatitis C may remain asymptomatic for 15–30 years, making it a “silent” infection. When symptoms appear, they may include:
- Fatigue and weakness
- Loss of appetite
- Nausea
- Vague abdominal discomfort
In advanced liver disease, symptoms may include:
- Weight loss
- Poor digestion
- Vomiting blood
- Jaundice or other signs of liver dysfunction
Homeopathic treatment may help relieve symptoms and support overall liver health in individuals with Hepatitis C. A preliminary study conducted by Dr. Rajesh Shah reported a reduction in viral load using a novel preparation derived from the Hepatitis C virus. However, larger and more extensive studies are required to validate these findings.
Dr Rajesh Shah’s Research reference
With homeopathic care, symptomatic improvement may be noticed within 6–8 weeks in some individuals. Any observed reduction in viral load may take several months, depending on individual factors such as disease stage, liver condition, and immune response.
At present, there is no evidence that Hepatitis C can be completely cured with homeopathy. Homeopathic treatment may help with symptom management, immune support, and a possible reduction in viral activity, but outcomes vary among individuals.
Homeopathic treatment may be considered by:
- Individuals who are unable to tolerate conventional antiviral or interferon-based therapies
- Patients seeking supportive or complementary care
- Pregnant women, under professional supervision
Homeopathy should be undertaken only under the guidance of a qualified physician, and regular medical monitoring is essential.
