Homeopathy Brings New Hope to a Young Man Battling Psoriasis

A 24-year-old male from Maharashtra, Mr. A.R.S. (Patient ID: 43868), consulted Life Force Homeopathy through the online protocol in October 2020 for psoriasis that had persisted for over a year. The condition involved his scalp, face, forehead, neck, back, and areas behind the ears, accompanied by intense itching, dryness, cracking, and occasional bleeding. The disease had gradually spread after starting as a small pimple. Despite temporary relief from topical steroid creams prescribed earlier, his psoriasis relapsed on stopping them. After detailed case analysis, Dr. Rajesh Shah prescribed individualized, research-based homeopathic medicines along with constitutional treatment and dietary guidance. Initially, mild aggravation and new eruptions were noted, followed by a gradual reduction in itching and slowing of disease spread. Over time, steroid dependence was carefully tapered. He was suffering from a skin condition for more than a year. The eruptions of psoriasis were present on his back, neck, forehead, scalp, and face. Multiple eruptions were present on the scalp and back of the ears. The skin condition had started with a small pimple, and, later, the disease was spreading gradually. The patient was experiencing excessive itching over the skin. Dry skin caused cracks and bleeding sometimes. He approached nearby physicians who prescribed him local steroids and got temporary relief for the symptoms only. 

His appetite was average. He had no specific cravings for food items. The thirst for water was average. The patient had no issues related to the urine or stool. His sleep was sound, with no disturbances and no issues.

The patient was doing the studies. He was staying with his parents and younger sister. His mood was usually normal. He had no issues with mingling with others. No major stress was present in his life. He had a very cordial relationship with his parents and family.

He did not suffer from any other major illnesses in the past. No other major illness was noticed in his family.

After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines along with constitutional medicines. As per his disease, the diet was advised to follow.

Follow-Ups:

First Followup

By November 12, 2020. In addition to the previous eruptions, the patient was experiencing new ones on the cheeks, chin, back, shoulder, neck, and dorsum of the hands.

Second Followup

The patient stated on December 18, 2020, that the medications had made a slight improvement in his condition. There was a modest decrease in itching. The disease''s rate of spread had decreased. The scaling and dryness continued. Overall, there was a slight variation in the symptoms observed with the medications.

The patient was still using local steroidal creams as of March 28, 2021, and every time he intended to stop using them, his symptoms would worsen and spread. Given thorough advice on how to minimize the resurfacing effects by weaning off and ceasing steroidal cream use.

Third Followup

By May 18, 2021, no additional advancements were observed. Thus, the situation was thoroughly examined, and Dr. Shah recommended the updated medications.

Fourth Followup

On November 26, 2021, following three to four months of treatment, the disease''s spread stabilized and the scalp patches significantly improved. The patient was instructed to moisturize the areas and adhere to a diet because the dryness and flakiness continued.

Fifth Followup

On 22nd Jan 2022, the patient was overall better with the eruptions, and the condition was stable. Only a slight spread on the scalp was seen. The itching and dryness had reduced.

Sixth Followup

On the 1st of April 2022, there was a mild spread on the scalp near the forehead from the last 2 months. The probable cause could be the patient shifted to the hostel from the home atmosphere.

Seventh Followup

On 16th Dec 2022, the condition was much more stable. The itching and dryness were also reduced.

Eighth Followup

On 24th August 2020, he updated, being almost 50% to 60% better in his complaints. The spread had completely stopped. The itching on the skin was minimal. The hyperpigmentation was still present, but it was reducing gradually. She was overall better with the medicines.

Ninth Followup

On 14th December 2024, the patient reported being further better with the life force medicines. The itching was minimal or nil. His skin was becoming almost normal. He was not using any other medicine than homeopathic treatment. The spread of the disease was totally under control. Overall, there was a great difference in his condition, symptoms, and well-being with our homeopathic medicines and continuing the same.

The patient and his family thanked Dr. Rajesh Shah and the whole Life Force team for treating him and improving his health. He is still under our homeopathic treatment to achieve complete recovery from his disease and to prevent relapse.
