A 15-year-old boy (Patient ID: 40990) came with a complaint of vitiligo on the lower back, nose, and cheeks (below the left eye) in the last 2 years. The condition was stable in the last 6 months. He was taking allopathic medication for the same, including steroids.
Vitiligo is a long-term skin condition in which the body''s immune system attacks and destroys melanocytes, the cells responsible for producing melanin (the pigment that gives skin its color). This results in white or light-colored patches on the skin. These patches can vary in size and appear anywhere on the body, including the face, hands, and other areas frequently exposed to sunlight.
Physical Generals
The patient is having a mixed diet with a craving for chicken, meat, and sweets. He doesn’t like vegetables. He has profuse sweat on his face and forehead.
Psychological and Family Make-Up

In Dec 2019, the patient showed remarkable changes with no spread of the patches, and the patches below the eyes were decreasing with re-repigmentation of the patches under the eyes.
