A 16-year-old girl, Ms. S. S. K. (PIN: 38019) started treatment from Life Force Homeopathy for her complaints of pharyngitis on 25th December 2019. She was suffering from it for the last 2 years. She used to suffer from episodes of sneezing with a runny nose twice a month. And, it used to last the whole day. She was often experiencing a blockage in the nose.
The patient had a sensation as if her throat is bleeding and she could feel the smell of blood. She was experiencing the heaviness of the head (on the right side). She was taking allopathic medicines off and on.Her appetite was average. She had cravings for pizza, burgers, and fried food. Her thirst for water was normal. Her sleep was sound and refreshing.
She was a student. Her father was a businessman, and her mother was a homemaker. She had one elder sister. The patient was very happy, calm, and composed. She had the fear of ghosts and stage fear.The patient had pneumonitis in the past. She was taking treatment at Life Force for her complaints of thyroiditis from 21st September 2018.
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines to the patient.
Follow-Ups
On 8th February 2020, the patient told us that her relief in the intensity of sneezing and a runny nose was better. The frequency of the episode was as it is. Her relief from the nose blockage was also better. She did not have a headache after starting with the homeopathic medicines. Based on this feedback, Dr. Shah reviewed the case and prescribed further medicines to the patient.
On 4th April 2020, the patient reported that she was improving further with the medicines. Episodes of sneezing and runny nose had reduced to once in a month with reduced intensity. She no more experienced the sensation as if the throat is bleeding. Also, she did not experience a headache.
On 14th May 2020, the patient reported that she had episodes of sneezing just once a week. But, her relief in all other symptoms was better. Based on this feedback, Dr. Shah prescribed further medicines to the patient.
On 17th July 2020, the patient reported that she traveled to her native place and her complaints increased in the last 15 days. She was experiencing increased sneezing, itching, and internal bleeding in the throat. It was a major episode.
On 12th September 2020, the patient was feeling perfectly fine. She had no episode of sneezing, a runny nose, headache, or a nose block after the last follow-up. She was not required to take any medicines except homeopathy.
On 12th December 2020, the patient said that she did not have any episodes in the last 4 months. An overall improvement in her health with the medicines had occurred.
