Sixty six years old elderly businessman from Pune, Mr. M.D.R. (Patient Identification No- 21776) visited Life Force on 12th October 2013 for the treatment of vitiligo.
He presented with vitiligo spots on hands, chest, back, legs, neck, chin and scalp since six months. He had sporadic vitiligo spots. He was on conventional steroidal applications since 3-4 months. He was also taking homeopathic medicines from a local doctor along with conventional medicines since 2 months. There was no family history of vitiligo. He was also suffering from hypertension and underactive thyroid since ten years. With conventional medicines, his disease had not come under control and was spreading rapidly. He was then introduced to Life Force by a friend, who is under Dr. Shah's treatment for Psoriasis.
He was a vegetarian by diet. He had a liking for sweet food items. His appetite, thirst and perspiration were normal. He was sensitive to cold climate. His bowel movements were disturbed. His sleep was sound.
He was into business of supplying engineering materials. His wife was a housewife. He had a son and two daughters. His elder daughter was a doctor and was married. His son and younger daughter were into his same business.
On his emotional side, he expressed that he would always suppress his anger. He also expressed about an unjust incident which happened before 25 years. His brother and nephew took away business established by him. He was unable to forget that unpleasant incident and was disappointed as his brother was not in talking terms with him.
He did not have any major illness in the past. His father and brother suffered from diabetes and his mother had hypertension.
His photos were taken and his case was studied by Dr. Shah. He was prescribed research based medicine for vitiligo and was asked to report after 2 months.
First follow up
He visited clinic for his first follow up on 12th Dec'13. He reported of noticeable improvement on spots over scalp, chin and palms. His vitiligo spots on chest, neck, back and legs were same. He was prescribed medicines for next two months.
Second follow up
After 2 months, he submitted his feedback report online on 10th Feb'14. He mentioned that overall there was 20% improvement. His spots on scalp and hands were significantly better but there was minimal improvement on his neck, legs and back spots. Also, few new spots had come on the chest. He told that re-pigmentation was seen on scalp and hands and the borders of the spots had started to fill up. He had completely stopped conventional medicines. Next 2 months of medicines were sent to him.
Third follow up
He again submitted his progress report online on 10th April'14. He mentioned of overall 70% improvement. Re-pigmentation was seen on many spots over scalp,hands, neck and chin. The spots on chest and lower back had turned dull but still few new spots had come up. He also mentioned about the sudden death of his 34 year old son due to pulmonary embolism and was thus personally and professionally disturbed and stressed. Some changes were made in the prescription by Dr. Shah and 2 months medicines were sent to him.
Fourth follow up
He visited Life Force on 19th June'14. There was overall 80% improvement. Re-pigmentation had occurred on most of the spots over scalp, neck and hands. His lesions on chest and legs were considerably improving. Prominent changes were noticeable on his scalp spots. His fresh photos were taken and medicines were given for 2 months.
From the photos it is very clear, that homeopathy medicines have amazing results in treating difficult disease conditions like vitiligo. He is still under our treatment for further recovery. Homeopathic medicines corrects the altered immune system and also helps in improving the stress coping mechanism; thus treating the disease from within.
