A 33-years-old young male, Mr. H.S.D. (PIN 17776) visited Life Force on 17th December 2011 for the treatment of Asthma.He presented with the suffering from asthma, which she was experiencing from the last one year. He had suffered from three severe episodes of asthma in the last one year. The episodes lasted for 8-10 days. During an episode, he would experience a great difficulty in breathing, cough with expectoration, weakness, heaviness in the head, drowsiness, and generalized body ache.
His complaints would get aggravated from crowded places, dust, cold drinks, and A.C. His chest X-ray dated 16th April 2011 was normal. He also had a history of allergic rhinitis from her childhood. In the past, he had taken many antibiotics, bronchodilators, and steroidal medications which had given him only a temporary relief. He had stopped all medications since the last one week. He started homeopathic treatment with the hope of achieving a good control over the disease with a long-lasting cure.
He was a vegetarian by diet. He would like spicy food and dislike sweets. He would have excessive thirst and difficult perspiration. He was sensitive to the cold climate. His bowel movements, urination, and sleep were normal.
He was working as an accountant in a shipping company. His wife was working in a pharmaceutical company. His father was retired, and his mother was a housewife. His younger brother was also working with the shipping company. He was loquacious by nature. He would desire company and would like to be social. He had some conflict with his uncle and had anxiety and stress due to it.
His mother was suffering from frozen shoulder, and his paternal grandfather suffered from hypertension.Dr. Shah studied his case in detail and prescribed him Lycopodium Clavatum 30 along with research-based medicine for asthma.
He visited Life Force after two months on 18th February 2012 for his first follow-up. He reported of an overall considerable improvement in his complaints. He would still have a cough mainly at night around 2-3 am. He would also have weakness and body ache. Some changes were made in his prescription by Dr. Shah.
After six months of the treatment, he reported on 28th June 2012 with a significant improvement in his asthma complaints. He had no complaints of a cough, weakness, and body ache. He didn’t suffer from any severe episode during those six months.
After another five months of the treatment on 3rd December 2012, he was glad to report 90% improvement in his asthma complaints. He did not suffer from any major episode during the treatment. His complaints would aggravate occasionally in the crowded places. He was advised to continue the treatment for a few months for further improvement and better management of his asthma, but he discontinued the treatment as he was happy with the outcome of the treatment.
He then visited Life Force on 18th August 2014 accompanied by his wife. He had come to the clinic to start the treatment of his wife who was suffering from cervical spondylitis.
