A 50-year-old male patient(Patient ID: 46626) hailing from Bijapur, enquired in Nov 2021 through online consultation, regarding treatment for his chronic complaints of laryngo-pharyngeal reflux. He suffered from the sensation of a lump in his throat, frequent irritation, and dryness in his throat, affecting his voice. He had excess mucus at the back of the throat and, a dry cough with constant need to clear the throat. The patient mentioned that these complaints started after Covid infection in May 2020. Initially, acid reflux was treated and was partially better with conventional medications, but in the past six months, the complaints have progressed affecting his daily routine and work.
The patient has been taking antacids almost daily for the last six months with mild relief, although recently there was no relief even after having them.
Associated Illness
The patient was mildly obese, due to sedentary and faulty lifestyle habits.
Past illnesses
The patient had chronic asthma but was stable and not on any conventional treatment. He had pneumonitis at one year of age. He had a COVID-19 infection in May 2020 and was treated with conventional medications.
Family History of Illness
His parents had hypertension and diabetes mellitus. His paternal grandfather and uncles both had asthma.

The patient was reserved by nature, and happily married with two kids. He was working at a private company and was content with his life.
At Lifeforce
The patient''s case was taken in detail on call and was forwarded to Dr Shah for case study and prescription. At the next follow-up on the 30th of April 2022, the patient stated the following: The improvement is phenomenal. He was 70% better in all his complaints. Dr Shah again prescribed him another eight weeks and asked for an update.
On the 24th of June 2022, the patient again reported his feedback that he was further better, and only mild dryness of throat remained. He was prescribed for Dr Shah for another eight weeks.
During the next three to four months, the patient had no complaints and was stable. He was prescribed maintenance homeopathic doses for another two months by Dr Shah and asked to stop treatment.
Conclusion
This case study shows the excellent effectiveness of homeopathic medicines in post-COVID symptoms of acid reflux. The patient was completely cured by homeopathic treatment given by Dr Shah.
