The child had been experiencing recurrent acute exacerbations marked by painful swollen tonsils, high-grade fever, and difficulty in eating and swallowing.
The tonsillitis episodes were usually bilateral and lasted for 2-3 days, resolving only after a course of antibiotics. During acute episodes, he also experienced runny nose, bilateral temporal headache, bad breath, and dry cough that persisted for 4-5 days post-infection. These attacks were often triggered by seasonal weather changes or intake of cold drinks.
His parents were particularly concerned about the recurring nature of the infections and the increasing reliance on antibiotics.

No episodes of tonsillitis. Child remained generally fresh and stable.
5th Follow-up (06th April 2023):
No tonsillitis attacks in the past 2.5 months. A mild cold episode occurred but was successfully managed with home remedies.
6th Follow-up (20th May 2023):
No tonsillitis attacks in the past 5 months. A mild cold and cough episode 20 days earlier was well-managed without antibiotics.
7th Follow-up (09th July 2023):
The patient remained stable and asymptomatic.
8th Follow-up (27th August 2023):
Reported an overall 70–80% improvement, with no episodes of tonsillitis. The child remained active, healthy, and stable.
Conclusion:
Master U.R.’s case demonstrated the effectiveness of individualized homeopathic treatment in managing chronic and recurrent tonsillitis.
