Patient Profile: Name: Mr. M. S. Age: 45 years Medical History: Membranous Glomerulopathy (3 years), Psoriasis Personality Traits: Anxious, worrisome, very nervous, concerned about appearance due to psoriasis Other Complaints: Sleeplessness, especially waking at 3 a.m. and unable to return to sleep Presenting Complaints: Swelling of both legs Proteinuria Decreased urine output High blood pressure Investigations: Urinary microalbumin (11/07/2008): 563.26 mg/dL (Normal: 21.2–119.6) 24-hour urine protein (11/07/2008): 11,265.3 mg/day (Normal: 25–120 mg/day) → Moderate to severe proteinuria Urine Analysis: Proteins [+30 mg/dL], WBC 2–3/hpf, few bacteria, few granular casts, sugar trace Kidney Biopsy (10/08/2006): Membranous Glomerulopathy Homeopathic Treatment: Prescribed Kali Sulph 30C, repeated doses, based on detailed case study and patient constitution. Outcome: 11 months post-treatment: 24-hour urine protein reduced to 6,000 mg/day (6 g/day) Achieved improvement without use of steroids Psoriasis symptoms improved Patient continues to maintain good health. Conclusion: Homeopathic management with Kali Sulph 30C resulted in a significant reduction in proteinuria in a patient with long-standing Membranous Glomerulopathy, along with improvement in associated psoriasis and overall quality of life.

He was suffering from Membranous Gloumerulopathy, since last 3 years.

Urinary micro albumin 563.26 [21.2-119.6]
24 hour urine protein 11265.3mg/dl [25-120 mg/dl]
Moderate to severe proteinuria
Urine analysis showed
Proteins present [+30mg/dl]
WBC [Pus Cells 2-3/hpf]
Bacteria few present
Casts few granular
Sugar trace
10.8.06 Kidney Biopsy showed Membranous Gloumerulopathy
He also suffered from Psoriasis.
Patient was anxious, worrisome, very nervous type of person
He had anxiety about the illnesses and since he was suffering from psoriasis he was very awkward about his appearance.
He also suffered from sleeplessness
He would get sleep disturbances at 3 am in the morning after which he would not get sleep
Dr Shah studied the case in detail and prescribed Kali Sulph 30 C in repeated doses
Within 11 months of treatment his Membranous Gloumerulopathy was much better
His reports are as follows
24 hour urine protein has come down to 6000 mg / day
or 4 grams in the report dated 1-6-09
This was achieved when the patient was not on any steroids
The patient still continues to do well
The psoriasis also improved
