A retired teacher (PIN 32662) started his treatment at Life Force Homeopathy clinic’s Chembur branch for his complaints of trigeminal neuralgia, which he was suffering from 6-7 years. He had tried following the conventional line of treatment, but there was no significant relief. The treatment gave him a temporary relief. He was dependant on the pain killers.
He met Dr. Shah and explained his conditions and symptoms. He was suffering with a radiating pain from the right temporomandibular joint to right side of lower jaw (chin). He was experiencing a sharp needle-like pain. The sensation, which he felt around this area, was as if the part was on fire and it was burning. Patient was extremely irritated due to this constant pain. He could not sleep peacefully, as his sleep was disturbed due to the pain. His pain used to get aggravated on speaking loudly, stress, anger, lying on right side, chewing, and at night. The patient used to get a temporary relief by having warm food, warm drinks, and warm fomentation. He could not remember things sometimes, and he would forget things in between.
There was no medical history of trigeminal neuralgia or any other disease related to the central nervous system in his family. When asked if he had any injury or major stress at the onset of disease, he answered ‘No’. He was a known case of diabetes mellitus and hypertension, which was under control.
