Homeopathy Achieves Complete Recovery in 42-Year-Old Male with Leukoplakia

A 42-year-old male from Mumbai, Mr. A.S. (Patient ID: 46451), visited us for a complaint of Leukoplakia on 9th October 2021.He had been suffering from it for 3 years. There were white-colored lesions present on his tongue. There was no pain or burning present in the mouth. The patient only complained of roughness on his tongue. He had taken allopathic medicines but had stopped them 3–4 months ago as there were no major changes after taking them. On inquiry, there was no history of smoking or tobacco chewing.
His appetite was average. There was no specific desire or aversion related to food and drinks. His thirst for water was average. There were no issues with urine and stool. Sleep was normal and sound.The patient was an IT engineer by profession and was doing a job. His wife was working in a government bank. He had one son. The patient was very clever by nature. He had major stress related to day-to-day work.
He had never had any major past illnesses. There were no major illnesses in the family noticed during case history.After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed him some research-based homeopathic medicines.
Follow-Ups
On 27th November 2021, in the first follow-up, the patient reported that there were no major changes with the medicines. The white patches were still present. The roughness on the tongue was the same as before. On the basis of this feedback, he was prescribed further medicines. He was also prescribed vitamin supplements along with the medicines.
On 29th March 2022, the patient reported that he was feeling better. The white patches had reduced on the tongue. The roughness was less than before. There was an overall difference after taking the medicines.
On 21st May 2022, the patient updated that he was almost 50–60% better with the medicines. The white patches had reduced significantly, and there was no rough feeling on the tongue. The patient was very happy with the results.
On 26th August 2022, the patient reported that he was completely better. The white patches were no longer present in the mouth. There was no roughness or uneven feeling on the tongue. He had gotten completely better with the medicines.
Conclusion
This case study demonstrates that using homeopathic medicines correctly and patiently can produce better outcomes.
