He had been suffering from this complaint since the last one year. He had been on 600mg a day of carbamazepine since the last 6 months. It was not controlled even with such a high dosage. He then decided to try for homeopathic treatment. He searched online for more information on the treatment of Trigeminal Neuralgia. He came across Dr. Shah's work and in TN with homeopathic remedies. He consulted with a few local homeopaths and they also advised him to try the treatment under Dr Shah and so he subscribed for treatment on 5th December, 2011.
His pains were like typically electric shock like. They would occur while eating, talking, brushing and rinsing the mouth. It was a case of trigeminal neuralgia of the right maxillary nerve. The pain would start from the right side of the nose and shoot towards the forehead and vault of skull.
