On February 13, 2022, a female patient (Patient ID: 47397) from Ulwe, Navi Mumbai, came to the Life Force Homeopathy Vashi branch complaining of recurrent coughing. For roughly five or six months, she had been dealing with the same issues. Cough episodes occurred five to six times a month and lasted four to five days on average. Since then, the complaints have been getting worse. Recurrent dry cough and chest pain that worsened after coughing were the main complaints.
The patient experienced a series of complaints, starting with a dry cough that would last for a few days, followed by the production of milky white expectoration, which causes the patient to try to get rid of it constantly, and finally, a dry throat. After coughing, there was hoarseness in the voice. The patient was taking Tab. Allegra 120 mg once/day since the last few months, syrup Asthalin three times/day, syrup Grinillictus twice/day.
Personal History
The patient was vegetarian, had average meals, craved sweets, sour foods, and paneer, and had an average thirst of four to six glasses per day. The patient had no bowel complaints but occasionally passed urine uncontrollably while coughing, and her cough also interfered with her sleep. The patient was thermally chilly.
The patient is a homemaker, and her spouse worked for a shipping company in Uran, Navi Mumbai. Her 15-year-old son was studying in the 10th grade.
Family History
Paternal grandmother suffered from recurrent cold and cough, and her father had hernia and was diabetic and hypertensive.
Mental Generals
When things don''t go her way, the patient gets easily aggressive. She was arrogant, easily expressive, and stubborn, making it hard to get her to understand anything.
On examination, the chest was clear, and no wheezing was noted. The tongue was moist and clean.Weight: 88 kg, BP: 120/70 mm of hg.

Follow Ups
Her complaints improved during the first follow-up, which was conducted on March 25, 2022. The cough''s frequency and intensity decreased, and there was no chest pain. There were only two episodes in a month, and no conventional medication was being taken.
At the second follow-up on May 3, 2022, the patient was 60% better, the frequency of cough was reduced to once per month, and she had no chest pain or hoarseness of voice.
In her last follow-up dated September 15, 2022, she was 80% better, had only coughed sporadically for the previous month, had no chest pain or hoarseness, and her duration had significantly decreased to just 10 minutes.
