She visited Life Force on 16th December 2008 with the complaint of Chalazions on both her upper eye lids. They were painful. It had appeared few days back. She had recurrent Chalazions since the past few months.She had an average appetite. She liked sweets and spicy food. She was sensitive to cold weather. Digestion, urination and sleep were normal. Her menses were also regular.
She was studying in the 8th Standard. She was staying in a joint family along with her paternal grandmother. Her parents were into family business. Her elder sister was graduating.She was good in studies. She had anticipatory anxiety. She was sensitive and emotional and would weep often. She would get angry but would not express it.
She had suffered from alopecia 5 years ago which was treated with allopathic medicines.Her paternal grandfather suffered from diabetes and cancer. One of her maternal aunt had died in young age due to chronic lung disease.
Her case was studied in detail and she was prescribed Pulsatilla Nigricans 200c along with few research based medicines by Dr. Shah.She visited on 2nd February 2009 with no change in her chalazae. The right upper eye lid chalazion had become hard after staring the medications. The left one was the same. They were stable; neither increased nor decreased.
She visited on 14th March 2009 with mild improvement. The left chalazion did not show any improvement. The right chalazion had increased to two in number.
