A 13-years-old adolescent girl, Miss ARC (PIN 30260) visited Life Force’s Chembur branch on 9th November 2016. She was suffering from vitiligo since two years. She had developed hypopigmented spots on both her knees and left shoulder. She had applied steroidal application for 15 days and stopped applying it since 6 months.
She had an average stature. She used to consume both vegetarian and non-vegetarian diet. Her appetite was average, & she used to consume an average quantity of water every day. She had craving for spicy foodstuffs. She passed satisfactory stools every day. And, she enjoyed sound sleep daily.
She was hospitalized for upper respiratory tract infection in her childhood.
Her mother was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus.
She was a mild, shy, and introvert girl. She was intelligent and excelled in academics.
Dr. Shah studied the case in detail and prescribed her one of the research-based medicines.
First follow up
After 6 months of the treatment, when she visited us on 1st June 2017, she had experienced overall 50 % improvement in her condition. No new spots had developed, and re-pigmentation was observed in her old spots.
