A 21-year-old young girl, Ms. A.A.G. (PIN: 37360) visited Life Force on 12th July 2018 with a complaint of vitiligo. The patient was suffering from vitiligo for two to three months. At the time of consultation, a dull hypopigmented spot was noticed on her right temple area. She had consulted to a dermatologist who diagnosed it vitiligo and prescribed some steroid, but the patient didn’t take that medicines. Besides this, she was also suffering from acne and hair fall.
The patient was a vegetarian by diet. Her appetite was normal. She liked spicy food, and she was fond of pizza. She didn’t like a few vegetables, such as capsicum, cauliflower, etc. Her thirst was less than average. Her perspiration was average. She was a hot patient. Her urine, bowel, and sleep were normal. There was no specific dream affecting her.
In her family, her father was suffering from diabetes, and her mother was suffering from goiter. Her maternal grandfather had diabetes. Except for this, there was no other specific family and past medical history present.
She completed her B.Sc. recently. Her father was working in a coal mine. Her mother was a homemaker. Her elder brother was an engineer and younger brother had completed his B.Com.
She was very mild and shy in nature. She was very emotional and used to weep on small things. She was reserved by nature, so she used to suppress her emotions. She liked the company. She had the fear of darkness & thunder. She was nervous and short-tempered.
After studying her detailed case history, she was prescribed research-based molecule for her vitiligo complaint. She was advised to follow a restricted diet for vitiligo and to do some blood tests.
Two days later, she had done all the tests. She had a deficiency of vitamins so she was advised to start the supplements for it.
First follow up
After two months of homeopathic medication on 18th August 2018, when the patient gave her follow-up, there was a good improvement observed in her recovery from the hypopigmented spot and acne. Her spot appeared dull in color. Overall, she experienced 50% improvement in her recovery from the spot. But, her hair fall was as it is.
Second follow up
A few months later on 15th October 2018, when she gave her feedback, her condition had improved by more than 60%-70%. Her spot appeared dull in color as well as its size had also reduced. Also, her recovery from acne had improved.
Third follow up
In December 2018, she informed about a good recovery in her condition. Her hypopigmented spot had almost vanished. Her relief from acne too was improved by more than 70%-80%.
She had achieved almost a complete recovery from vitiligo so she was advised to stop the treatment and observe the condition.
Conclusion:
This case illustrates that the rightly selected homeopathic medicine always offers a good result in treating an autoimmune disorder within a few months. Homeopathy is quite effective in treating vitiligo significantly and safely without any side-effects.
