A 13-year-old American teenager, Mast R.K. (PIN: 26253) began treatment under Dr. Shah for his Vitiligo in May 2019.In July 2018, his parents noticed a spot on his toe for the first time. They went to a dermatologist, who said it was Vitiligo in its early stages.
He had spots on his knuckles and near his nails, and he had a barely visible white discoloration below his lower lips. The spots were only a few millimeters across. The largest, probably measuring 5 mm by 5 mm, was on his right forefinger. The spots remained confined and did not spread. He was treated with steroid ointment for a few days after which it was stopped.
Physical Generals
The child preferred seafood, cheese, and yogurt, but he disliked raw vegetables and red meat. His hunger and thirst were average. He was more tolerant of the cold. He was born in India, but, when he was one year old, he moved to the United States.
Self and Family’s Medical History
He suffered from eczema in the past. His father had asthma, and his uncle had diabetes and high blood pressure.
At Life Force
Based on his case study, Natrum muriaticum 30 (four pills three times per day) was prescribed for four months to the patient.
Follow-Ups
In September 2019, the patient’s parents informed us that the spots are 50% better after four months of treatment.
In between, blood work was done which showed he was lacking Vitamin D, so, he was advised to take Vitamin D routinely. If you are deficient in vitamin D, you should take a supplement to help your skin heal from Vitiligo, and early morning sun exposure was also recommended.
In January 2020, his parents updated us that his recovery from the skin condition is showing a lot of good progress, and he was better by 95%. No new spots had been noticed.
For a complete recovery, the patient was advised to continue the homeopathy treatment for a few more months.
Conclusion
This case highlights that homeopathy promotes recovery from vitiligo incredibly and safely without any side effects. The likelihood of recovery is high if homeopathic remedies are administered at an early stage of Vitiligo.
