50-Year-Old Achieves Remarkable Vitiligo Recovery Through Long-Term Homeopathy
A 50-year-old male with widespread and progressive vitiligo underwent long-term homeopathic treatment under Dr. Shah’s guidance. Over nearly a decade, his hypopigmented patches on underarms, scalp, fingers, and other areas showed gradual re-pigmentation, with new spots ceasing to appear. This case demonstrates how consistent, individualized homeopathic care can safely restore skin color and control disease progression.
A 50-year-old male from Jharkhand, Mr. O.G. (PIN: 18818) started online treatment from Life Force on 9th April 2012 for his complaint of Vitiligo.
He was suffering from a skin condition for the past two years. Hypopigmented patches were present on his underarms. The patches were very big. Small vitiligo spots were present on his scalp, fingers, legs, and private parts. He had no other complaint apart from this. He also noticed new spots appearing on his body gradually, and the disease was spreading. There was no family history of a similar disease in his case. The patient was not taking any medicines for his skin condition.
Physical Generals:
The patient had an average appetite. He had a specific desire for sweets, and his thirst was average. The patient’s sleep was good and refreshing.
Psychological and Family Make-Up:
He was into some private business. He always had stress related to his work. He was staying with his wife and two sons. He was very short-tempered and always had anxiety about small things.
Self and Family’s Medical History:
The patient had no major history of any illness, nor did his family have any medical history of any major diseases.
At Life Force:
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines along with some dietary tips to the patient.
Follow-Ups:
On 17th September 2012, the patient reported that the patches were as it is. There was no change in the spots. New small spots were noticed on the skin. No major change was noticed with the medicines. Based on this feedback, Dr. Shah prescribed further medicines to the patient. Some vitamin supplements along with the medicines were prescribed to him.
On 2nd September 2013, the patient said that there was a mild difference with the medicines. The patches were turning pink, and re-pigmentation in the borders had started. A few new spots were coming up. The speed of the spread of the disease was reduced than before. An overall minute recovery from the disease was observed.
On 2nd October 2014, the patient reported that there were changes with the medicines, but, from the past few months, it had become stable. The patches were not increasing or decreasing. No further change in the skin condition was noticed. Based on this feedback, Dr. Shah reviewed the case and prescribed revised medicines to the patient.
On 5th November 2015, the patient reported being around 50% better with the homeopathic medicines. No spread of the disease was observed. He did not notice any new spots in the past few months. Color changes were observed in the white spots. He was overall better with the medicines.
On 10th September 2016, the patient reported that the old spots had almost 60% healed. The patches on his underarms had re-pigmented. There were small new patches noticed on his finger in the past few months. Based on this feedback, new medicines were prescribed to the patient.
On 5th September 2017, the patient updated that the recovery from the old patches was almost 70% better now. The patches on his underarms had re-pigmented. The new spots, which were developing on his fingers, had stopped. The small spots on the body had also started healing. He was overall improving with medicines gradually.
On 4th October 2019, the patient reported being 80% better now. 80% re-pigmentation in the patches had occurred. The improvement was very slow, but the patient was happy as a slow and steady improvement was noticed in his spots. The spread of disease was under control. He was recovering slowly with the homeopathic medicines.
On 5th October 2020, the patient was almost 85% to 90% better now. No new spots nor patches on the skin were noticeable. Old spots were gradually getting skin color. There was a slow improvement happening with medicines.
On 22nd November 2021, the patient reported being further better. He was almost 95% better. The size of the spots had reduced a lot. The re-pigmentation was noticed in them. No major spread of the disease had occurred. The patient was overall better with the medicines.
