A 59-year-old businessman (PIN: 46955) visited the clinic of Life Force Homeopathy on 15th January 2021. He had Old Hepatitis B which had already led to Cirrhosis and Varices.
Chief Complaints
His main complaints were the presence of fresh blood in vomiting on 5th November 2021 and 6th November 2021, black stool in November (thrice till date), a loss of appetite, loss of weight of 7 kgs, current weight was 73 kgs while his weight was 80 kgs on 2nd October 2021, and reduced desire to eat. He was taking conventional medicines
Associated Complaints
He had anemia, and his hemoglobin was less than 11 gms. He had diabetes - HBA1C: 6.2(H)
Past Medical History
2 units of blood transfusion were done in November 2021 while he was hospitalized as his hemoglobin had dropped. He had undergone surgery for thyroid at the age of 8 years but no pathology was found.

Follow-Ups
At the first follow-up on 29th January 2022, the patient was feeling 25% better. He no longer suffered from vomiting. Also, he no longer experienced blood in the stool. HBV viral load: not detected, HBsAg: provisionally reactive/
At the follow-up on 5th June 2022, the patient was overall 80% better. He had no weakness. Also, symptomatically, he had no complaints now. His appetite had increased. HBsAg: Non-reactive weight increased to 80 kgs.
