A 39-year-old homeopathic doctor, Dr. R.S.C. (PIN: 33146) started treatment from Life Force Homeopathy for his complaints of urticaria on 12th August 2017.
The patient was suffering from severe urticaria since childhood. He used to get swelling over his scalp, face, ears, lips, and around eyes. Reddish eruptions used to develop over the affected areas. The patient used to experience a burning type of pain and severe itching. 

These complaints used to get aggravated in the cold and damp weather, after eating sweets, potatoes, and bananas, and from 4.00 PM to 7.00 AM. The complaints used to get better after covering his affected areas and with the warm water applications. 

The patient was a homeopathic physician and had taken various treatments for the same but did not get any relief. He had to take antihistamines too for his complaints.

The patient had a strong family history of Urticaria, as his father and his brother too suffered from the illness.

The patient was a non-vegetarian and had the cravings for meat and spicy food. He had aversion to salty food and pickles. The patient used to experience profuse perspiration over his palms and soles. He has thermally hot and had a desire to be in the open air. The patient had sound sleep and used to dream of water occasionally. 

The patient was very fastidious by nature. He liked all things to be in place and used to get angry if they won’t be that way. He was also dominating and did not like people disobeying him. In anger, he used to break relations and harbor hatred feelings later. Also, he was anxious about his disease and was hurried and worried always. 

After going through his case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed him research-based molecules for 6 weeks.

First Follow Up

After 6 weeks of homeopathic medications, the patient experienced 30% relief in his complaints.

Second follow up

The patient's complaints used to get aggravated in the damp weather, so he used to take antihistamines whenever needed.

Third follow up

After taking homeopathic medications for 10 months, the severity and frequency of his urticarial episodes had significantly reduced.

Fourth follow up

The patient had 90% relief in his complaints after 2 years of homeopathic treatment. The need for taking antihistamines had also reduced significantly.

Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathy acts effectively in treating Urticaria by reducing the discomfort and by reducing the dependency over antihistamines. Homeopathy treats urticaria remarkably and safely without any side-effects.
