Severe urticaria with angioedema improved despite long standing illness
A 24 year old software professional with an eight year history of urticaria suffered from intense itching, widespread rashes, and recurrent angioneurotic edema affecting daily life. Symptoms worsened with stress and were linked to food allergies, raised IgE levels, and associated PCOD. Professionally she was a software engineer working in a multi national company. Her husband was a Chartered Accountant working in a private firm. Her father in law was a retired Chartered Accountant and mother in law was a homemaker.
