A 57-years-old middle-aged man, Mr. RMP (PIN: 27901) visited Life Force, Kemps Corner branch on 7th February 2016
He was suffering from urticaria for the last 10 years. He had developed an intolerable itching and redness all over the body. The episode used to appear once in three months and last for three days. He used to experience an aggravation in his complaints after consuming sour foodstuffs, pineapples, strawberry, and cucumbers. He used to feel better after applying the cold water.
He had taken several anti-histamines in the past, but that didn’t give him much relief. Hence, he also took steroids for some time to feel better.
He was taking homeopathic medicines for Tinnitus. And, he was taking thyroid supplements and allopathic medications for Hyperlipidemia.
He was fair and had an average stature. He used to consume a vegetarian diet. He had an average appetite & used to consume large quantities of water. He had a strong craving for milk, sweets, and cold foods and drinks. He passed satisfactory stools daily. He enjoyed a sound sleep.
He was also suffering from Tinnitus, Hypothyroidism, and Hyperlipidemia
His father was diagnosed with hypertension and hyperlipidemia, and his mother was diagnosed with hearing loss, urticaria, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.
He liked traveling, reading books, and hitting the gym. He was a workaholic and fastidious.
Dr. Shah studied his case in detail and prescribed his one of the research-based medicines to the patient.
First folow up
After one and a half months of the treatment, when he visited us for the first follow-up on 18th March 2016, he had experienced 80% improvement in the relief from itching and redness. The severity of the disease had reduced gradually.
Second follow up
After 12 months of the treatment, when he visited us on 28th Feb 2017, he didn’t suffer from any urticarial episodes since he had started our treatment. Also, his dependency on anti-histamines had decreased drastically.
He still under our care and has not experienced any episodes of urticaria since then.
Conclusion:
This case illustrates that homeopathy offers a great and long-lasting relief, rather than just a temporary relief, from urticaria safely without any side-effects. Homeopathy also reduces the dependency on anti-histamines to a great extent.
