Complete Recovery From Nephrotic Syndrome in a 4-Year-Old Boy With Life Force Homeopathy
A 4-year-old boy from Rajasthan, Mast. M.S. (PIN: 36147), suffering from frequent episodes of nephrotic syndrome for two years, was dependent on mild steroids and experiencing swelling, dark yellow urine, frothy urine, and constipation. Case History
A 4-year-old boy from Rajasthan, Mast. M.S. (PIN: 36147) started treatment online on 15th March 2018 for the complaint of his Nephrotic syndrome.
He was suffering from nephrotic syndrome for the last two years. His parents gave a detailed history of child online. He was suffering from episodes of this condition every two weeks and it never used to stop without steroids. The episode used to last for six to seven days approximately. The child was always on a mild dose of steroids from the last two years. There was swelling present all over his body as a side-effect of steroids. He used to pass urine which was of dark yellow in color and, occasionally, frothy. He also had a complaint of constipation. His stools were very hard to pass. His urine protein was three plus on investigation.
His appetite was increased. He was eating more than an average child, and his weight had increased drastically in the past two years. He loved to eat fruits and chocolates. His water-intake was average. His sleep was normal. The parents of the patient reported that he was a very happy and loving child but, whenever an episode of the nephrotic syndrome would affect him, he used to get irritable and angry for a few days.
He never had any other major illnesses in the past. His mother suffered from a complaint of Asthma.
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed him Kali Carb 30 and some research-based homeopathic medicines.
Follow-Ups:
First followup
On 11th May 2018, the patient’s father updated the feedback. The patient’s health was gradually improving with the medicines. The frequency of the episodes was gradually decreasing. The patient’s steroid dose was gradually reduced by his pediatrician. There was no swelling present now. The urine color was gradually improving and becoming normal. The protein in urine was found to be plus two on urine investigation. The child was overall improving with the medicines.
Second followup
On 16th August 2018, the father of the patient reported that he was further better. There was no swelling present on his body. The patient no more suffered from any physical complaints. His weight had started reducing gradually. He had become more active and energetic kid than before. The steroid dose was further reduced. It was observed that, in spite of reducing the steroid dose, the child did not get a relapse of nephrotic syndrome. His urine protein was nil on examination. The parents of the patient were very happy and satisfied with the treatment.
Third followup
On 12th October 2018, the patient was reported to be further better. He was absolutely fine now. There were no complaints bothering the child. His steroids were stopped completely now. The urine protein was nil even after stopping the steroids. The child was overall better with the medicines. He was only on homeopathic medicines now.
Fourth followup
On 13th December 2018, the patient was updated to be absolutely normal. He was completely off the steroids from the past three months, and he was perfectly fine. No complaint was bothering the child anymore.
On 21st February 2019, the parents reported that the child is perfectly fine. No health issues were bothering him now. Urine protein was observed to be nil from the past five to six months even though he was not on steroids.
