A 44-year-old male from Bangalore, Mr. N.K. (PIN: 35229) started online treatment at Life Force on 13th January 2018 for his complaints of vitiligo.
He was suffering from it from the past year. He was having hypopigmented, i.e. white spots, on his underarms, groins, and eyelids. There were multiple small white spots present on both the underarms. Besides this, he was experiencing no other complaint. He also noticed new spots appearing on his body gradually and the disease was spreading. There was no genetic or family history of a similar disease present.
He had an average appetite. He had no specific cravings and aversions with regards to the food and drinks. His thirst was average. His sleep was good and refreshing. He had an overall healthy diet and lifestyle. He mentioned that every day he goes to the gym and maintains his health properly.
He was self-employed. He was staying with his wife and children. He had a very anxious nature, and he often used to shout in anger.
There was no major history of any past illness present. Also, there were no illnesses present in his family.
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed him some research-based homeopathic medicines along with some dietary advice.
First follow up
On 13th March 2018, the patient reported that no major changes occurred with the medicines. His condition was almost as it is. There were no changes in the spots. The spread of disease was completely under control, but there were no changes in the old spots. Based on this feedback, Dr. Shah prescribed further medicines. He was also prescribed some vitamin supplements to be taken along with the medicines.
Second follow up
On 7th July 2018, the patient was reported being about 60% better with the medicines. There was no spread of the disease. He did not notice any new spots since he started with the treatment. There were color changes observed in the white spots. They had started becoming pinkish gradually. The patient and his family were very happy with the results.
Third follow up
On 4th November 2018, the patient reported being further better. He was almost 70% better. His spots had reduced in the size. Re-pigmentation was noticed in them. 100% control in the spread of the disease was achieved. The patient was overall better with the medicines. The patient said that he is noticing changes in the white spots every day.
Fourth follow up
On 24th May 2019, the patient reported being almost 80% better in his relief from the complaints. The spots were fading further. No new spots had appeared, and no spread of the disease had occurred. All the spots were pinkish now, and most of the spots had almost restored with the skin color. He was overall better with the medicines.
The patient and his family were very happy with the results. They thanked Dr. Shah and the whole Life Force team for treating his vitiligo effectively and improving this health. He is still under our treatment to recover completely.
Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in treating vitiligo successfully and safely without any side-effects.
