Master N.S., a 3-year-old boy, was brought to our online treatment program for Nephrotic Syndrome. His first episode occurred in June 2010, presenting with swelling of the face, abdomen, and feet, along with reduced urine output and proteinuria. He was treated with steroids for four weeks and initially recovered.
He experienced a relapse and was prescribed steroids for four months at an increased dosage; however, urine protein never returned to nil. A kidney biopsy was performed, revealing Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). Subsequently, he received six monthly injections of cyclophosphamide along with tapering steroid therapy.
The family learned about Dr. Shah through the internet and initiated homeopathic treatment, submitting a detailed questionnaire on 28th July 2011.

Appetite: Average, with no specific likes or dislikes
Family environment: Living with parents, grandparents, and paternal uncles
Temperament: Happy child, occasionally expressing anger by throwing toys

Progress:
26th September 2011: Considerable improvement; urine protein remained nil for 1.5 months. Steroids were further tapered; cyclophosphamide course completed.
3rd February 2012: Further improvement; steroids continued to be reduced. Prescription was reviewed and upgraded by Dr. Shah.
One year into treatment: Father reported complete cessation of steroids for 2 months and persistent nil proteinuria.
Master N.S. continues to take the prescribed medicines to achieve full recovery from Nephrotic Syndrome.

He got a relapse and was again given 4 months steroid medicines with increased dosage, but still the urine protein was never reported nil. He underwent a kidney biopsy which showed focal segmental glomeruloscelrosis. He was then given a course of 6 injections of cyclophosphamide, once a month for 4 months. He was also taking steroid medicines in tapering dosage.
He found about Dr. Shah through internet and decided to start with his medications. He submitted his questionnaire on 28th July 2011.

First followup
He reported on 26th September with considerable improvement. The urine protein was nil since 1.5 months. His steroid was further tapered down. The cyclophosphamide injection was completed.
Second followup
He reported on 3rd February with further improvement. His steroids were further reduced. His case was reviewed by Dr. Shah and accordingly his prescription was upgraded.
Post 1 year treatment:
After a year's treatment his father reported further improvement. His steroid were completely stopped since 2 months and his urine protein had been nil since the start of treatment.
He is still continuing the medicines to achieve complete recovery in this condition.
