Miss. I.G. has had tonsillitis on and off for the past two years. Even after taking steroids and antibiotics, the episode would recur every time and last for 2 to 4 weeks.

At first, she would have trouble swallowing both liquid and solid foods. She would experience a blocked feeling in the throat. She had enlarged tonsils and swollen lymph nodes under her jaw. After speaking, her throat would dry out, her voice would get hoarse, and she would feel out of breath.

She would occasionally cough and experience throat pain. The cough was with yellow expectoration. Her complaints would get worse at the beginning (whenever she woke up) and end of the day.

In past, she suffered from Tonsillitis when she was about 7 years old, which was treated with homeopathy.
