The lymph nodes are located throughout the body and are part of the body's immune system. They help to fight infection by filtering out bacteria and other foreign substances.
The most common cause of reactive lymphadenopathy is an infection, such as a cold, flu, or strep throat. Other causes of reactive lymphadenopathy include Inflammation, such as an autoimmune disease or an allergic reaction, and Cancer, such as lymphoma or leukaemia.
Mr A. R. (PIN: 46552) a supply chain manager, sought medical attention at the Life Force’s Thane clinic on 22nd October 2021. MRI Neck
Revealed a few sub-centimeter-sized lymph nodes at levels 1, 2, and 3, suggestive of reactive aetiology.Additionally, mild elongation of the soft palate and mild leftward deviation of the uvula was observed. However, no evidence of abnormal focal area intensity alteration was noted.
Initial Treatment Done
Antibiotics and painkillers were taken on and off.
