Case Study
Mr. P.S.D. (PIN: 36552) consulted at Life Force in April 2018 for his complaint of Lichen planus. He had been suffering from this complaint since 2017. On his first visit, many reddish, purplish raised eruptions were observed on his feet, legs, hands, back, and abdomen. The itching was severe and his disease was continuously progressing even after following conventional medicines for 4-5 months and homeopathic medicines from another homeopath for 3 months. His oral cavity, genital, and nails were not affected by it.
Along with it, he also had piles, dandruff, an umbilical hernia, and headache complaints. He was taking conventional medicines for piles and headache complaints as and when required. Except for this, he was not taking any other medicine.
Physical Generals
During case taking, he informed us that he was a pure vegetarian and his appetite was normal. He was very fond of spicy, sweets, and chocolate. His thirst was excessive and his perspiration was very less. His bowel movements were also not satisfactory.
Psychological and Family Make-Up
He had a business of investment. He was leading a happy family life with a wife and 2 sons. His parents were also living with him.
Mentally, he was very happy since his childhood. He was a confident and smart person. He had some stress related to business.
Self and Family’s Medical History
He had no specific medical history; except for his father had high blood pressure complaints in his family’s medical history.
At Life Force
Based on the totality of symptoms, Dr. Rajesh Shah prescribed the medicine to the patient. Also, he advised a few blood tests and guided a specific diet to the patient.
Follow-Ups
At his first feedback, his eruptions were the same but itching was severe. In his blood reports, his vitamins were low; so, he was advised to take vitamins supplement with homeopathic medicine and apply coconut oil on the eruptions.
On his second feedback, his condition started to show positive changes, eruptions were better and itching was as it is.After a few months of medicines, in March 2020, he informed approximately 60% improvement in his recovery from LP eruptions.
In August 2019, the patient informed us that he had a few new eruptions on his legs and hands. There was no specific reason for triggering the disease. All his old eruptions were better. And, his itching was also triggered; so, Dr. Shah did the required changes in his medicine.
After changing medicine, his recovery from the condition showed good improvement. The itching was mainly present only on his leg eruptions.
After taking homeopathic medicine for a few months, his skin was 70%-80% healed. But, due to his stress, a few eruptions relapsed on his legs and navel. Except for this, all old eruptions had almost vanished. So, the necessary changes were done to his prescription and were also advised to do meditation for reducing the stress.
In January 2022, he informed us that his disease was relieved. No new eruption nor any itching was present. So, he was advised to stop the treatment. And, to avoid the dryness, he was told to apply coconut oil or some moisturizer.
