A 31-year-old male patient from Haryana, Mr. S.J. (PIN: 33938) started homeopathic treatment from Life Force on 10th October 2017 for his complaint of Ulcerative colitis.

He was suffering from it for six years. He had the complaint of loose stool, and his frequency of passing the stools was around 7-10 times a day. Even after passing the stools, the patient was not satisfied. He was experiencing bleeding along with the stool. Blood was mixed with his stools. He had to rush immediately for stool after eating food. Occasionally, he used to experience pain while passing the stools. He was also suffering from fatigue and weakness. It was noticed that the patient was losing his weight day-by-day. He was on conventional medicines for many years, but they were not giving him any relief or results. 

His appetite had reduced. His thirst was also less. The patient had the complaint of burning micturition on and off. His sleep was normal. 

He was doing a job and was satisfied with it. He was staying away from his family because of his work. He had stress related to it. He used to get negative thoughts on and off. 

He never had any other major illness in the past. There was no other major illness present in his family.

After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed him phosphorus 30 and some research-based homeopathic medicines. 

Follow-Ups:

There was a great difference noticed by the patient in the first follow-up. On 7th December 2017, the patient reported that he was around 5% to 10% better with the medicines. His stool frequency had reduced from 7-10 to 5-8 times a day. Bleeding too had reduced than before. The pain and discomfort were still present. On the basis of the feedback, Dr. Shah prescribed further medicines to the patient. 

On 26th March 2018, the patient reported being almost 30% better in his relief from the complaints. His bleeding had reduced than before. The pain had also reduced. His stool frequency had reduced to 4-5 times a day. The patient was feeling energetic now. 

On 23rd July 2018, the patient updated that he was almost 50% better than earlier. His stool frequency was reducing. The stool started forming normal which was initially very loose. The bleeding was less than before. The patient had started gaining weight now. He was overall better with the medicines. 

On 27th November 2018, the patient was further better. He reported that his complaints were 60% better. His bleeding had almost stopped. The pain was lesser than before. His stool frequency was 3-4 times a day. The patient was improving overall with the medicines.

On 22nd March 2019, the patient was around 80% better with the medicines. The stool frequency was 3-4 times a day. The bleeding was not present anymore. The pain had almost turned negligible now. He was overall improving with our medicines. 

He thanked Dr. Shah and the whole Life Force team for helping him and improving his health. He is still under our treatment to be perfectly fine with the medicines.  

Conclusion:

This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in treating ulcerative colitis remarkably and safely without any side-effects.
