A 39-years-old male patient, Mr. A.P. (PIN 29051) visited Life Force’s Chembur branch on 20th June 2016 with the complaint of trigeminal neuralgia. The patient was suffering from this complaint since two years. He was experiencing right-sided facial pain. He was suffering from electric current like pain on his right upper teeth. Duration of the pain used to be from a few minutes to a few hours. The patient’s condition used to get aggravated by air traveling, stress, blowing nose, and lack of sleep. He was on allopathic treatment for the pain.
His appetite was average. He did not have any specific liking, but he didn’t like spicy food. His thirst & urine were normal. His motion was not satisfactory. His sleep was disturbed & interrupted.
He had no specific past medical history. In his family, his father and mother were suffering from diabetes.
He had a reserved personality, and he did not open up easily. He was very ambitious. He had anxiety about health.
Dr. Shah studied his case in detail and prescribed Sulphur 200 C along with research-based molecule for trigeminal neuralgia.
At his first follow-up on 18th August 2016, he reported a good improvement in his condition. His condition had improved by 50%. He got a good relief in the terms of frequency, intensity, & duration of pain.
