Mrs. G.C., a 38-year-old homemaker (Patient Identification number:33414), visited our Thane branch of Life Force Homeopathy for her concern about a long-standing, recurrent dry cough, from which she has been suffering since 2018, that had started after the birth of her second child. Dr. Shah had previously treated her for her calcaneal spur and hair loss complaints with successful outcomes. Since she had a good experience with Dr. Shah’s treatment once again, she approached us and visited the clinic along with her husband.
The patient experienced intense bouts of dry cough at least 3-4 episodes throughout the day. She also experienced dryness of throat and frequent urge to clear the throat along with cough, associated with morning sneezing and followed by nasal blockage. Her cough would aggravate with exposure to dust and a little bit relieved by steam inhalation. Her cycle of symptoms has been frustrating and increasing with frequency and intensity since December 2023. Additionally, she also suffered from hoarseness of voice during intense cough episodes.
In the past, she suffered from Migraine and a history of Hypothyroidism. Her mother suffered from Rheumatoid arthritis.

On 22nd May 2024 in her first follow-up itself patient reported she is feeling better, her intensity of cough was better also the rest of the complaints like sneezing and nasal blockages were also improving.
Second follow-up:
By 11th July 2024, the patient was informed that her improvement continued, and her dry cough was better by almost 80%, with no cough episodes during weather changes.
Final follow-up:
The patient experienced around 90% improvement in her complaints by 9th August 2024, with no major episodes of cough over the preceding 5 months.
Conclusion:
This case of chronic recurrent cough highlights the effectiveness of Homeopathy.
