Miss R.L., from London, aged 26 years, reported with severe episodes of Trigeminal Neuralgia. She was prescribed Carbamazepine by local doctors. However, she developed severe skin allergy which compelled the doctors to stop it. She was left with unbearable attacks every day; making her life miserable.
She would have right sided pain with every draft of air, movement, eating, chewing , brushing or even without any reason.
She flew down to our clinic in Mumbai and described her condition with tears.
Her case was studied in full length. It was noted that she had family history of multiple sclerosis, which probably genetically contributed to her Trigeminal Neuralgia. She had broken relation which probably triggered and aggravated her problem.
