Mast.T.T. visited the Chembur clinic with his parents on 19th December 2022 for his complaint of Tonsillitis. Tonsillitis is inflammation of the tonsils, small glands at the back of the throat, often caused by viral or bacterial infections. It leads to symptoms like a sore throat, swollen tonsils, and difficulty swallowing.
He had recurrent episodes of inflamed tonsils with white coating accompanied by throat pain, dry cough, difficulty swallowing, loss of appetite, and fever. He had 3-4 episodes in 6 months, which required antibiotics to get better. He was under Homeopathic treatment for a few months but now wanted to start treatment at Life Force, as his father''s experience with the treatment had been very nice. His complaints of throat pain were triggered by cold food items, sweets, and Chinese food.
Physical generals:
He was a boy who was not fussy about food like other kids; he liked homemade food with a special craving for sweets and disliked spicy food. according to his mother, he used to drench in his sweat after playing for some time. He did not prefer hot weather and used to be irritable even when it got a little warm and did not cover himself at all at night, even in winter. He had a habit of grinding his teeth in his sleep since the age of 3.
There is a strong family history of autoimmune disorders; his father has been suffering from ankylosing spondylitis for many years and has been under homeopathic treatment for 1 year. His grandmother was also a patient with ankylosing spondylitis.
Mast. T.T had a history of many respiratory ailments since 1 year of age he had suffered from covid 19, swine flu, and pneumonia.
On examination, his weight and height were noted down with a detailed respiratory examination done where in his chest was clear and his tonsils were red and swollen noted on throat examination.
His parents were explained regarding the scope of homeopathy in his complaint and also the treatment regime and strategy we were planning for their son’s treatment.
Dr shah then met with him along with his parents and after careful evaluation and study of his case history Dr shah prescribed SILICEA-200 for him. He was also advised some dietary changes for a better recovery.
Follow-ups:
In the Follow-up done in Jan 2023: He had improved, but recently had an episode of cold and tonsillitis with a fever 3-4 days after having outside food, for which he was given antibiotics, but his recovery time was better than earlier episodes.
In the Follow-up done on March 23: He was much better with no episodes of tonsillitis since the last treatment.
In the Follow-up done on April 23: He had 1 mild episode of tonsilitis better in 2-3 days with antibiotics with no fever.
In the future follow ups ,he was completely better with no episodes so treatment was stopped in Oct 2023
In July 2024, His mother reported that he was completely better till June 2024 since Oct 2023 but complained of tonsillitis relapsed in 1 month, his mother did not wait for the disease to progress and approached Lifeforce and restarted his treatment.
He had 2 episodes in 1 month span and had cough fever, swelling rednes,s and white coating on the tongue
In follow-up done on Sept 24: He has no episodes of tonsillitis, much better
In the Follow-up done In Oct 24: He had 1 minor episode with difficulty eating, no redness, no cough no fever, for which he was given antibiotics for 3 days
In the Follow up done On Dec 24: He had an episode of cough and tonsillitis,s and light redness but no antibiotics were required
In the Follow up done On Feb 25: He had only 1 mild episode of cough and throat pain better only with homeopathic medicines
In the Follow up done On March 25: No episodes were noted since Feb 25 even after having a few of his trigger food items
Still continuing the treatment for better recovery
