Homeopathy Provides 80% Relief in a 13-Year-Old Boy With Child Asthma

A 13-year-old boy from Uttarakhand, Mr. K.S. The patient was suffering from asthma for the past 3 to 4 years. He was suffering from the complaint of recurrent cold and cough since childhood. He was given allopathic medicines for the same. From the past 3 to 4 years, he started experiencing difficulty in breathing. It was later diagnosed that he is suffering from bronchial asthma (Child asthma). There was no running nose or cold present but the continuous cough was always present. He was kept on inhalers by an allopathic doctor.

He used to suffer from acute episodes of breathlessness(asthma), on an average, once in three months. The episode used to last for 30 minutes approximately, and it used to settle once he was given an inhaler. The patient’s father also reported that, generally, the patient used to get acute episodes after eating oily food, dust, pollution, cold food, and cold drinks etc. He had a strong history of asthma in the family.
He had an average appetite with a desire, particularly for eggs. His thirst for water was normal. There were no issues related to his urine and stool. He had a good sleep pattern but his sleep used to get disturbed during asthma episodes.
He was a very creative child as informed by his father. He was studying in 6th standard. The patient was staying with his mother. His father was working in the Indian army so he was posted to different places. His father also described that he was a very emotional and sensitive child.
He had a past history of recurrent tonsillitis for which he was operated before 7 years. His grandfather had a history of asthma, and his father was suffering from hypertension.After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed him Antium-Tart and some research-based homeopathic medicines.
Follow-Ups
At the first follow-up of the patient on 16th February 2018, the patient’s father reported that he was doing well. There was no acute episode of asthma right from the time he started homeopathic treatment from us. His relief from coughing was also better overall. Also, he had reduced his use of the inhaler.
After four months of the treatment on 14th April 2018, he experienced further improvement in his health. He was almost 40% to 50% better with the treatment. There was an acute episode of asthma, but the intensity of the attack was reduced a lot compared to the earlier episodes. An overall improvement was observed in health.
On 18th June 2018, the patient’s father reported that he was almost 60% better within seven months of treatment. His relief from a cough and breathing difficulty was better a lot. His inhaler was stopped from the last two months. He was only on homeopathic treatment now.
On 11th September 2018, he was further better. His father updated that he was almost 70% better with his complaints. Previously, he used to get asthma episodes once in three months, but, after starting the treatment from us, his acute episodes had reduced. Since the past six to seven months, no acute episode of breathlessness (Asthma) was observed. The patient didn’t experience any need to have allopathic medication or inhaler in the past six to seven months. The patient and his family were very happy and satisfied with the treatment.
On 25th February 2019, the patient’s father updated that his problem was resolved almost by 80% then. The patient experienced no acute episode from the past 10 months of the treatment. He was overall better with the medicines. The patient and his family were quite satisfied and happy with the treatment.

Conclusion
