Patient Achieves Complete Hair Regrowth and Gains Confidence Through Homeopathy

A 34-year-old male with alopecia areata developed bald patches on his scalp and mustache and saw no results with previous steroid treatments. A 34-year-old male, Mr. H.F. (PIN: 39596) visited Kemp’s corner branch of Life Force and started homeopathic treatment for his complaint of Alopecia Areata on 13th March 2019.  

He was suffering from alopecia areata for 2 months. He had developed bald patches on his head and mustache. There were 2 big patches on his scalp and 1-2 small spots on his mustache. The patient had taken allopathic treatment in the past. He had also taken steroid injections before 1 year but got no results with it. The patches were increasing day by day. His mother was suffering from Vitiligo and she was taking treatment from Life Force. She was better in her relief from the disease so she referred her son for treatment.

The patient was not quite interested to take homeopathic treatment but, as his mother insisted, he visited and started the treatment.

His appetite was average. The patient had the desire to eat outside food most time and did not like homemade food much. His thirst for water was less. He had no issues related to the urine and stool. His sleep was normal and refreshing.The patient was running a business. Often, he experienced stress related to his work. He had one son. He was very extroverted and talkative. He was short-tempered and often used to get angry easily.

He did not suffer any major illnesses in the past. His mother suffered from vitiligo, diabetes mellitus, and an underactive thyroid.After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines to the patient.

Follow-Ups

On 21st June 2019, the patient reported that he had experienced mild changes with the medicines. The regrowth of hair had occurred on the mustache. The patches on his scalp were as it is. There was no further increase in the patch but hair regrowth had not occurred. The patient was advised to continue medicines further along with certain dietary recommendations. 

On 11th November 2019, the patient updated that the spot on his mustache had vanished. Complete regrowth of hair had occurred in it but the scalp did not improve much. The patch on the scalp was appearing to be as it is, and no major changes were observed in it. Based on this feedback, Dr. Shah prescribed revised medicine to the patient.

On 4th August 2020, the patient updated being almost 50%-60% better with the medicines. Regrowth of hair was observed on the scalp. No new patch was noticed for a long time. The disease was completely under control. The patient was very happy with the progress.

On 24th December 2020, the patient reported that he is 100% better now. There are no bald patches were observed on his scalp or mustache. The complete regrowth of hair was observed. The patient was very happy and satisfied with the treatment. He started believing strongly in Homeopathy.
