In May 2019, a 31-year-old enthusiastic engineer (Patient ID: 40297) came to the Life Force clinic''s Paud Road branch in Pune with his family with concern about a bald patch on the occipital area of his scalp that had begun to grow six years prior and was gradually becoming bigger.
He had tried traditional treatments like injections, laser treatment, oral drugs, and local steroid applications, but to no avail.
He had no particular cause for developing alopecia, and there was no family history of the condition. Except for typhoid, which he contracted when he was ten years old, there was no noteworthy history of previous illnesses.
Family History
His mother was a patient of hypertension,, and his father was a patient of hypotension.
Physical Generals
There was no specific craving or aversion for any food item. His thirst, perspiration, sleep, and bowel bladder were normal.
Mental Generals
He was temperamentally mild, gentle, and sober. He used to mix easily with others and desired company.Taking into account all the details of the patient, Dr. Shah prescribed him homeopathic medicines, some of which were research-based medicines, for 8 weeks. He was also recommended to follow some key blood tests and some dietary changes.
Follow-Ups
By 5th July 2019, the patient reported that the bald areas had not changed at his initial follow-up, which was around eight weeks later.At the second follow-up on October 20, 2019, he showed a minor improvement in the patches. Dr. Shah continued to administer medication to the patient for an additional eight weeks in light of this progress.
Three months later, on December 18, 2019, the patch''s hairs had grown back around 50%. In the mean time, there was no need to recommend any external supplements because his blood reports had fallen within normal ranges. After four months, two further followups revealed that all of his bald areas had grown new hair.
At the end of 2021, after a series of follows
ups, all of his bald spots had further filled in, and the one bald spot that remained had regrown a few hairHe subsequently stopped receiving treatment for a year or two, but after that, he saw a new little patch over his beard. In March 2024, he called Life Force once more and resumed treatment.
Further follow-Ups
The patient had expressed his gratitude as there was no visible patch, no new patches as well, and his new hairs also improved in density.
On June 12, 2024, there was a 50% improvement in the patch covering his beard.His hair had significantly improved in quality. The beard patch was over 80% improved on November 22, 2024. Additionally, the patient is cured and there are currently no active spots, according to the most recent follow-up, which was completed on 12-02-2025.
