At Life Force, we have treated many cases of bronchitis with excellent results. There was an 11-year-old boy from Mumbai, Patient ID: 50100, suffering from Allergic bronchitis. He consulted us on 19th December 2022. The patient has been suffering from it for more than 5 years. He used to get the episodes on every change of weather and after consuming cold food or drinks. He was also allergic to dust and a strong smell.
The intensity of the disease was gradually increasing. There was a cough with expectoration. He also complained of breathlessness during the episode. The patient used to take inhalers and other conventional medicines during the episode. Parents said that after taking allopathic medicines, the patient felt better in a week but the complaint again kept relapsing every few days. There was no permanent solution to his problem.
The patient had an average appetite. There was a specific desire for chocolates. The thirst for water was very low. There were no complaints with urine and stool. Sleep was sound.He was studying in the 4th standard. His father had a mobile business, and his mother was a housewife. The boy was very extrovert and joyful by nature. He had a fear of animals and was afraid to go alone in a dark room.
There was no major history of any past illness. His grandparents suffered from allergies.
After studying the case in detail, Dr.Shah prescribed him Calcarea phos 30 along with his research-based homeopathic medicines. He was advised to take allopathic medicine during acute episodes, as homeopathy will help reduce the frequency of attacks, but during the acute phase, he will have to take Allopathy along with homeopathy.
Follow-Ups
On 6th February 2023, the patient and his parents reported that there was no improvement with the medicines. He was still getting the episodes frequently. He was given allopathic medicines during the episode along with Homeopathy as advised. On the basis of this feedback, Dr.Shah prescribed revised medicine.
On 8th July 2023, parents updated that there was improvement noticed with the patient. The frequency of episodes has reduced now. The child was not getting the episodes as frequently as it used to be before. Also, the intensity of cough and breathlessness was less than before. He was still required to give allopathic medicine during the episode. There was overall improvement noticed with the patient.
On 15th September 2023, the patient and his parents reported that he was better all these months but in the last few days, the complaint has increased. On further evaluation, it was found that the patient had consumed ice cream after which his complaints were triggered.
The cough and breathlessness were present but the intensity was not as severe as before. He had stopped taking allopathic medicines and he was only on Homeopathy now. On the basis of this feedback, he was prescribed further medicines.
On 5th December 2023, parents reported that the patient was completely fine. There has been no episode of cough or breathlessness in the past few months. He had stopped all medicines and he was only taking Homeopathic medicines.
On 18th April 2024, the patient and his parents updated that he is perfectly fine now. There is no episode of cough or breathlessness. There was no requirement to take any allopathic medicines. He was absolutely better with our medicines.
The patient and his parents thanked Dr. Shah and the whole Life Force team for making him so much better.
