Responsibility:
- Receive and print medicine prescriptions.
- Carefully review prescriptions before preparing medicines.
- Verify dosage form (pills or drops) and dosage strength.
- Check treatment duration (1 week, 2 weeks, 1–12 months, as prescribed).
- Select appropriate glass or pill bottles and clean them using S.L. solution.
- Prepare medicines as per prescription, including research medicines, pills, molecules, and regular medicines.
- Fill liquid pills or drops into bottles as prescribed and shake well to ensure proper mixing.
- Place sealing wads in caps and seal bottles securely.
- Prepare powder doses according to prescription and label them correctly.
- Number and label medicine bottles, drop bottles, and powder dose bottles.
- Perform sealing, labeling, transfer labeling, and packing of medicines.
- Ensure correct pin number, patient name, dosage, pills, and drops on bottles and envelopes.
- Apply transparent labels and seal bottles using a wad sealing machine.
- Pack medicine bottles, drops, sprays, and powder doses properly in medicine envelopes.
- Use bubble wrap for glass bottles to prevent damage.
