A 13-years-old girl, Ms. A.U.B. (PIN 24854) visited at Life Force on 17th February 2015 with a complaint of Vitiligo. From the past three months, the patient was suffering from vitiligo. Her disease had progressed gradually. At the time of consultation, her left ankle, neck, left shoulder, and areas beside both the eyes were affected by the disease. She was taking homeopathic treatment but didn’t get the satisfactory result. Apart from vitiligo, she didn’t have any problem.
The patient was vegetarian by diet. Her thirst was less. She liked sweets very much. There was no specific disliking. She was a chilly patient. Her urine, bowel, and sleep were normal. There was no specific dream. But her perspiration was profuse, particularly mainly on the palm & sole.
In her family, her grandmother was suffering from diabetes. Her maternal uncle was suffering from vitiligo. She had no specific past history.
She was a student of 5th class. Her father was working in a logistics company. Her mother was a homemaker. She had one 2.5 years old sister.
She was studious, shy, and joyful in nature. She was very sincere and very obedient child. She was much mature as per her age. She was very understanding.
After studying her detailed case history, she was prescribed research-based molecule for her vitiligo complaint. Dr. Shah advised her to do some blood tests.
First follow up
After 2 months of the medication on 21st April 2015, when the patient gave her follow-up, there was a good improvement seen in her vitiligo spots. No new spots had appeared. Her Vitamin D was very low, so she was advised to start the Vitamin D supplements.
Second follow up
A few months later on 23rd December 2015, her condition was improved a lot. The areas around her eye experienced re-pigmentation. There were no new spots.
Third follow up
On the follow-up on 27th February 2016, her spots had improved drastically on the eye. Her father was happy with the treatment.
Fourth follow up
On 29th August 2016, her condition was improved by 70%. All her vitiligo spots were showing a good improvement. No new spots had appeared.
Fifth follow up
On 10th April 2017, when she gave her follow-up, all her spots on the neck, face, and leg were good in condition. No new spots had appeared, & no further spreading was observed.
Sixth follow up
On 28th November 2017, when she gave her follow-up, there were no new spots and old spots were showing improvement. There were no other complaints. Overall, she experienced 80% improvement.
Seventh follow up
On 22nd February 2018, her condition was more than 80% improved. All her spots were in a good condition. She was not facing any other complaint. Her family was satisfied & happy with the result.
She is still continuing our medicine for the further recovery.
Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathy is quite effective in treating vitiligo significantly and safely without any side-effects.
