Homeopathy Effectively Treats Underactive Thyroid, PCOS, and Acne in Women

A 30-years-old female patient, Mrs. S. P. (PIN: 28585) visited Chembur clinic on 29th April 2016 for getting her multiple complaints treated. She had an underactive thyroid for the past one year. She had gained 10 kgs of weight in the past one year. Her mood used to be low all the time. She had negative thoughts. She was on the conventional treatment, but her condition and symptoms were not cured. 

Besides UAT, she had PCOS for the past 14 years. Her menses were delayed and used to occur after a gap of 2-3 months. She used to experience mood swings before menses. Also, she had developed acne on her face, which was painful and pustular. She had a mixed diet with an average appetite. She had a craving for non-veg and sweet food. She was sensitive to the hot weather. Her bowels and urination were normal. She was an assistant manager in a company. Her father was a cricket coach, and her mother had passed away a year back.

There was no medical history of any major illness in her past. There was no major illness present in the family. She felt burdened with responsibility after her mother had passed away one year back. So, she was balancing the responsibilities of home, finances, managing dancing, and other matters at the same time. She wanted to be a Kathak dancer but needed to do the job to manage her finances. She was experiencing a sense of suffocation. She had the fear of heights.

She was very stubborn. After reviewing the patient's case in detail, she was prescribed medicines for her hypothyroidism, PCOD, and acne. Some dietary corrections were advised to her. When the patient gave her first follow-up on 4th June 2016, there was an improvement in her energy levels. Her mood swings had reduced a lot. Her menses had started occurring without any hormonal pills. Her acne had also reduced.

Overall, there was a 25% improvement in her condition. She was advised a few dietary corrections this time. Further medicines were prescribed to her for two months.

When she reverted over the phone on 29th November 2016, there was a further improvement in her condition.  Her weight was stable. Her dullness had also reduced.
