Significant Improvement in a 4-Year-Old Girl with Nephrotic Syndrome Through Homeopathy

Ms. S.V., a 4-year-old girl from Paud, was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome in 2016 after experiencing fever, edema, irritability, and recurrent episodes of proteinuria. She had frequent colds and was steroid-dependent, taking Prednisolone and Levamisole for disease management. After starting individualized homeopathic treatment under Dr. Shah’s supervision in November 2017, Ms. S.V. showed remarkable improvement. Within a few months, her proteinuria, edema, irritability, and weakness reduced significantly, and the frequency of colds decreased. Over the course of follow-ups from January 2018 to April 2019, she experienced minimal relapses, which were managed effectively with reduced doses of steroids. Eventually, she was able to stop Prednisolone completely while continuing homeopathic treatment. This case highlights how homeopathy can aid in the effective management of Nephrotic Syndrome, supporting overall recovery and enabling the gradual reduction and cessation of steroid medications.
