A 60-years-old female patient, Mrs. V.?. (Patient Ref. No.-30255) reported at the clinic on 9th November 2016 with the complaint of trigeminal neuralgia (right sided) that she was suffering since 6 months. She was experiencing severe pain in upper & lower right sided teeth & swelling on her right eye. Frequency of discomfort was daily at night. The pain was severe since one month. The patient was taking allopathic medicine continuously. Patient’s condition used to aggravate during night. She suffered 50% eyesight loss during the episodes. Apart from trigeminal neuralgia, she was suffering from diabetes since 12 years and skin allergy since 3 years. She also used to suffer from vertigo whenever she used to get tensed.
Her appetite was average. She was very fond of sweets. She disliked non-vegetarian food. Her thirst was normal. Her perspiration was normal & generalized. Her motion & urine were normal. Her menopause had started seven years ago.
She had suffered from fungal infection in the past. In her family, her mother had suffered from cervical cancer, her brother was diabetic, & other brother had died due to kidney disease.
She was short-tempered in nature. She used to show her emotion by scolding & abusing. She was influenced by other moods & nature. She was revengeful.
After going through her detailed case history, she was prescribed the medicine by Dr. Shah on the basis of totality of symptoms.
At her first-follow up in January, she didn’t report any marked improvement. Dr Shah made required changes in her medicine.
