A naughty, talkative child Ms. A. A. (PIN 21848) visited Life Force on 29th October 2013 along with her mother. Her mother had been successfully treated in the past with Dr. Shah’s medicines for Urticaria. The fun-loving, sweet child was suffering from Asthmatic Bronchitis (Hyper-reactive airway disorder) since a year. She had four to five episodes in the past one year. Her cold, cough, difficulty in breathing would remain for five to six days and would require nebulization.
She would also get a fever and take antibiotics, nebulization, and cortisone as and when required. Her appetite was normal, and she liked all types of tasty foods. She would get more perspiration on the scalp. She could not bear the warm weather. She liked sleeping on her abdomen.She stayed in a nuclear family with her parents. Her mother was a homemaker. Her father was into service in an oil and gas company.
She was naughty and mixing in nature. She was talkative. She had a mild fear of strangers. She would easily mix and play with other kids.Her mother had Urticaria which was treated by Dr. Shah. Her grandmother had some skin disease. One of her paternal cousins had asthma.
On examining her, the chest was clear as she had taken nebulization. Her nasal turbinates were swollen. She was weighing 13 kilograms.Dr. Shah examined her thoroughly and prescribed Medorrhinum 30c two doses along with Calcarea Iodatum 30c for six weeks.
When her mother called up on 18th December 2013 for the first follow-up, she was glad to report 60% improvement in her condition.
