Complete Recovery From Lichen Planus Found In 1 Year With Homeopathy
A 54-year-old female patient, Mrs. D.C. (PIN: 42729) visited Life Force Homeopathy to treat her Lichen Planus complaints on 30th January 2020. Her son was already taking treatment from Life Force for his complaints of lichen planus.
The patient’s complaints had started 3 months before she visited us. Her lesions had started developing from the left forearm and, within 2 months, they spread over the whole body. Multiple reddish-purple eruptions had formed all over her chest, abdomen, back, genitals, groins, hands, including armpits, legs, buttocks, and feet. On her soles, she only experienced itching. The patient was suffering from intense itching and burning. She would experience bleeding from active lesions with a slight touch. She was experiencing intense dryness all over her body. The patient was taking Tab Omnacortil 5 mg BD (Prednisolone) since 27th December 2019.
She was also suffering from an underactive thyroid for 12 years and was taking Tab Thyronorm 100 Mg.
She was a vegetarian and had no specific food choices. Her thirst was average. Her bowels were satisfactory. She could not tolerate the heat.
The patient was mild, gentle, very talkative, and expressive. She had turned irritable in the last 2-3 years due to her job issues. She was a teacher by profession. Also, the patient had stress related to her son's marriage.
After a detailed analysis of her case, Dr. Shah prescribed his research-based medicines for Lichen Planus to the patient.
Follow-Ups:
At her first follow-up, on 14 April 2020, all her complaints had increased as she stopped steroids 8 days back. She was explained that the increase in her complaints is due to the steroid withdrawal effect and not due to Homeopathic medicines. She was advised to follow the diet for lichen planus, continue Tab Omnacortil alternate days, and not to stop it abruptly, as steroids need to be tapered off gradually and then stop.
On 13th June 2020, she said that all her lesions were as it is. The itching had reduced. Steroids were slowly tapered off and stopped.
On 5th Aug 2020, the patient said that there were no active lesions present anywhere on her body. The only complaint left was pigmentation. She was experiencing occasional itching.
On 25th September 2020, the patient said that the only complaint that was left now was pigmentation. Rest all her complaints had healed.
In all the subsequent follow-ups, there was no relapse of lesions, and the pigmentation was the only remaining complaint.
She is very happy with the treatment received at Life Force and is continuing treatment for pigmentation.
Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathy is very safe and effective in treating autoimmune diseases, such as Lichen Planus, incredibly without any side effects.
