It is interesting to note that homeopathy remedies can bring calm and comfort by alleviating intense fear or anguish to those who have just suffered from acute trauma. For instance, Aconite Napellus, a medicine prepared from the mountain plant, is known to comfort fright and fear of death. It can make one relax, relive fear and cope up with the fearful situation better. In my opinion, millions of people world would have felt better with some doses of Aconite on the 12th or 13th September, especially people in the US.
Cantharis, a medicine prepared from Spanish fly, is another remedy to be used in the hospitals or roadside camps for the cases of burns. There is a wide range of homeopathic medicines for injuries of various kinds, used depending of the kind of trauma. For example, injury to bones may require Ruta Graveolens or Symphytum, severe injury to the eyes may need Ledum Palustre, general injury will call for Arnica Montana, while the patients with head injury are strongly recommended Arnica, Natrum sulphuricum to avoid long term bad effects of brain injury.
